Last night the gorgeous Aish @theglowfeed and I took a trip to one of our favourite plant-based hotspots; The Wild Food Café, buzzing to try out their new Summer Menu in this London heatwave.
So naturally I just had to share our beautiful dishes with you all for a dash of plant-based, foodie inspiration.
Wild Food Café serve a creative, raw menu, promoting their philosophy of nourishment in abundance. Something wish I live by, through and through. Tucked away in the technicolour Neal’s Yard, this is a real gem of a restaurant with feel good vibes.
On to the good stuff…
Aish went for the Ayurvedic Supersalad. A total masterpiece, with lambs lettuce, courgetti spaghetti, magical PINK olives, avocado, cucumber, red pepper and fresh figs for that summer twist.
I went for a dish named the Fairy Feast. And let’s face it, the name alone swayed me before I even read the ingredients. Just look at this beauty!
A real treat, this salad was full of fresh summer berries, watermelon, PINK olives, and avocado, topped with sunflower soft cheese. Cheese made from sunflower seeds! And I kid you not it tasted better than any mozzarella I’ve ever tried.
Of course we also tried their new summer desserts, because you simply don’t turn down the opportunity to eat raw desserts.
This blackberry cheesecake is totally plant-based, with a pecan crumble and a hint of lemon. Wow!
Just shows you that puddings can nourish your body as well as your soul.
